Lee Morris, DVM
Dr. Morris acquired the building at 1371 Fulton in 1980. Since then he has created a practice that offers modern technology and attentive service in a charming old building. After graduating from Colorado State he practiced at several small animal practices until moving to San Francisco. He has owned and operated the San Francisco Pet Hospital since 1980.
Dr. Lee Morris is adored by his patients and clients alike. Known for what should be his patented "Easy Cheese" technique, some dogs attempt to break down the door to get into the hospital. His gentle and understanding manner, with clients and patients, is what keeps our clients coming back year after year.
Robert Leyba, DVM
Dr. Leyba joined our staff in 2004, bringing his considerable talent and credentials. He has been a wonderful addition for the staff, our clients and patients! Dr. Leyba received his veterinary degree from UC Davis and his undergraduate degree in Biology from UC Santa Cruz. He has completed externships at the Marin Humane Society, University of Utrecht Netherlands, and the Animal Medical Center in New York City. After veterinary school, Dr. Leyba completed an additional elective year of training at the Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles. When not practicing medicine, he enjoys hiking with his dog Pippen, snowboarding in Tahoe, and motorcycling the Bay Area back roads.
